Mocha Mousse Magic at Larkspur Lodge: Rebecca & Chris' Dream Wedding

Late Spring is always a beautiful time for weddings - and Rebecca & Chris' big day at the charming Larkspur Lodge in Knutsford was no exception. I had the absolute joy of bringing Rebecca’s floral dreams to life, and her vision? Bang on trend with the Pantone Colour of the Year 2025: Mocha Mousse.

This warm, earthy neutral was the perfect base for creating a romantic and timeless floral story.

Earthy Elegance Meets Vintage Vibes

Rebecca’s bridal bouquet was a sophisticated blend of soft textures and natural tones. Here’s what we used to bring it all together:

  • White Peonies – Big, fluffy, and utterly luxurious

  • Cappuccino & Quicksand Roses – Softly faded tones for a romantic, nostalgic feel

  • Dried Lagurus (Bunny Tails) – A subtle nod to vintage, beachy textures

The end result? A bouquet that felt like coffee, toffee, and long walks on a warm beach - elegant, timeless, and a little bit dreamy.

A Bridal Party with Serious Style

Rebecca’s bridal party brought so much warmth and joy to the day - and looked amazing while doing it!

Her Bridesmen, Fabio & Tom, wore beautifully tailored suits in complementary earthy tones that tied into the florals perfectly. Bridesmaid Leah looked stunning in a flowing satin gown, echoing the warm colour palette with soft, glowing elegance.

Together, they created a cohesive, romantic look that felt effortlessly stylish.

How to Incorporate Mocha Mousse into Your Wedding

Mocha Mousse is such a versatile colour—it’s warm, grounding, and pairs beautifully with a range of florals and textures.

For a Soft, Romantic Palette:

Pair Mocha Mousse tones with:

  • Toffee and Sand-coloured Roses or Lisianthus

  • White blooms like Peonies or Ranunculus

  • Whimsical Gypsophila

  • Lush, dark green foliage like Ruscus for depth and contrast

This combination gives a soft, ethereal look that’s both classic and contemporary.

For an Autumnal, Rich Colour Story:

Layer Mocha Mousse with bold hues like:

  • Crimson Reds

  • Vibrant Oranges

  • Earthy neutrals like Toffee and Caramel-toned blooms

Complete the look with textural dried elements such as:

  • Pampas Grass

  • Lagurus (Bunny Tails)

  • Scabiosa Stellata

This creates a luxurious, warm aesthetic that’s perfect for late summer and autumn weddings.
